There is a BBQ House sitting central within the site that can be booked for private use. The lodges offer a mixture of scenic woodland and idyllic riverside views.

Far from the hustle and bustle of modern day living, this is the perfect site to explore the area as you’re just a short drive to the most of the beautiful coastal villages and towns. The bustling seaside town of Ayr is only 15 minute drive away with its array of eateries, bars and a beach. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful, extremely clean lodges which are of a very high specification/standard throughout. Recently refurbished/opened, the lodge had everything you could could possibly need. The welcome basket was a lovely touch too. Extremely peaceful location - it was lovely to sit in the hot tub or on the decking and relax looking out over a calm river. When we arrived we were met by Ian who couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful or friendly. Highly recommend.

After our honeymoon abroad was cancelled so we booked Gadgirth last minute, we we’re the first people to stop in the Woodcutter Lodge which was newly built. Karen & Iain we’re great hosts and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. The hamper on arrival is a great touch, fresh bread, eggs, milk and snacks went down a treat! The lodges are very well equipped and have everything you could think of. We will definitely remember our honeymoon even though it wasn’t our original destination and would love to return in the future.

Excellent week at Gadgirth, the lodge setting was beautiful overlooking the river. Lots of attention to detail making us feel very welcome and owners/staff couldn’t have done anymore. The brand new lodge was stunning. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
